This beautiful market town turns in to a street festival, with over 80 stalls showcasing local food and drink, crafts, jewellery, garden and homeware.

 
 

   
Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre

Boulogne  
 

Boulogne-sur-Mer is the largest fishing port in France and so the emphasis is very much on seafood and all things connected with the sea. With its cobbled square and vibrant market, its superb seafood restaurants and bistros has always had great appeal. You can remain in Boulogne or alternatively you can go and stock up at Auchan Hypermarket before returning back to Boulogne to spend the remainder of time.

In the morning we visit Canterbury, a cathedral city rich in heritage with plenty on offer; you can visit the famous cathedral, take a river cruise or shop till you drop. In the afternoon we travel to the traditional seaside town of Whitstable famous for its Oysters.

 
 

   
Chatham Dockyard - Special Event 
 

Our date coincide with the special event “Salute to the 1940’s”. The dockyard is filled with historic buildings, museum galleries and historic warships and set on an 80 acre site.

 

 
 

   
Chilham Castle Gardens & Canterbury 
 

Chilham Castle gardens are privately owned and are only opened for a few weeks in the Summer months.  Explore the expansive gardens at your leisure, also see the quaint little village of Chilham.  We also include a visit to Canterbury. 

 
 

   
Cite Europe & Belgium 
 

Our first stop will be at one of Europe's largest shopping centres – Cite Europe in France. With a large selection of fashion shops, restaurants and a hypermarket you are sure to find some bargains. You can remain at Cite Europe or alternatively if you would like to purchase cigarettes or tobacco stay on the coach where we will stop at an outlet in Belgium, before returning back to Cite Europe where you will spend the remaining time (time permitting).

 
 

   
Clacton on Sea or Walton on the Naze 
 

Clacton is a popular Essex seaside town with its sandy beaches, pier, fun rides, amusements and shopping centre. An ideal day out for the whole family during the school holidays.
Walton is a traditional seaside town with fascinating history, wonderful walks, the second largest pier in Britain and many miles of clean sandy beaches.

 
 

   
Colchester Zoo 
 

 

Is now one of the finest zoos in Europe with over 270 species to see, set in 60 acres of beautiful parkland and lakes. Walk through the lost Madagascar enclosure and with the Lemurs, visit Africa Zone and watch the feeding of the elephants, giraffes, rhinos, ostriches, zebras…, this outdoor paddock is a favourite with visitors.

The Cotswolds is an area of outstanding natural beauty, famous for hundreds of honey-coloured limestone villages in a beautiful rural setting.  Visit the film set of the popular period drama Downton Abbey and go behind the scenes.  Highclere Castle is set in 1,000 acres of parkland and has been home to the Earls of the Carnarvon family for over 300 years. Your visit includes the Egyptian Exhibition.

 
 

   
De Panne - Belgium 
 

Just across the Belgian border, this bustling seaside town has something for all tastes, especially if that includes mussels. The wide esplanade is lined with bars, cafes and souvenir shops, whilst the main streets have shops aplenty. This is, however, a very laid back town with a very pleasant relaxing atmosphere. For younger travellers the Plopsaland Theme park is a short tram ride away on the outskirts of town.

 
 

   
Deben River Cruise & Felixstowe 
 

We travel to the Edwardian seaside town of Felixstowe, with a vibrant town centre, or take a leisurely stroll along the promenade there is plenty to see and do in the town.  In the afternoon we travel to Waldringfield for a 2 hour cruise along the river Deben.  Sit back and enjoy the sights of Suffolk whilst enjoying a freshly baked fruit scone with jam, butter and tea/coffee.

 
 

   
Detling Antique Fair 
 

The Kent International Antiques and collectors fair at Detling has an international flavour. More and more stall holders are traveling from mainland Europe to sell their wares at Detling, providing a broad range of goods to satisfy all appetites for classic and traditional pieces. Furniture, ceramics, books, and many more items of interest.

 
 

   
Dover Castle  
 

Set high above the famous white cliffs, Dover Castle boats a colourful & fascinating history.   Relive the war years as you discover the labyrinth of Secret Wartime tunnels.  (Please note: There are some steep hills at the Castle)

 
 

   
East Kent Tour 
 

Travel through the pretty Kent countryside to Faversham, ‘today is market day’! From here we continue our journey to the delightful seaside town of Whitstable. Our final stop is the town of Deal which has a lovely seafront promenade with a range of restaurants and cafes.

 
 

   
Eastbourne 
 

Everything is nearby; beautiful sandy beaches, the seafront promenade, scenic Eastbourne Downs and breathtaking views at Beachy Head, the town centre is just a few yards walk from the centrally located Victorian Pier. On the 16 August is Eastbourne's annual airshow.

 
 

   
Faversham & Whitstable 
 

Faversham is a charming and historic market town, with an array of independent shops and restaurants to enjoy, our dates coincide with market day.  Whitstable is a seaside town full of character.  Enjoy a stroll along the promenade or enjoy a little shopping.
